Question 1

How is a lead priced?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is set per project category, with separate exclusive and shared prices. You always see the exact price before you confirm a purchase.

Question 2

What is a shared lead?

Accepted Answer

A shared project can be purchased by more than one company, up to a maximum of three roofing companies. The remaining slots and your position are shown before you buy and recorded on your receipt.

Question 3

What if a standard lead is bad?

Accepted Answer

RuufLink Lead Protection™ applies to standard leads — Exclusive and Shared Leads. Qualifying lead-quality problems are handled through it: report the lead from your dashboard within the window described in the Lead Purchase & Lead Protection Policy. Our team reviews each claim and decides eligibility; approved claims are made right with a replacement lead, not a charge reversal. Booked Appointments are a separate product and are not covered by Lead Protection™. If the purchase was funded by your monthly plan, an approved claim restores the applicable plan value to your current monthly plan instead of issuing a replacement lead.

Question 4

Does the homeowner know who I am?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When your purchase is finalized, RuufLink™ notifies the homeowner that your company has been connected with their request and gives them your business name, phone, CSLB license number and website. This applies to exclusive and shared purchases alike. They may contact you first — but we don't guarantee they'll call.

Question 5

Do I have to subscribe?

Accepted Answer

No. Pay As You Go is always available: purchase individual Verified Roofing Leads or Booked Appointments when you want them, with no monthly plan required. Optional monthly plans are also available after approval if you prefer a monthly option. There is no long-term contract either way.

Question 6

How fast do I get the contact details?

Accepted Answer

Immediately after payment is confirmed on our side. The homeowner's name, address, phone and email unlock in your dashboard.

Question 7

What do I need to sign up?

Accepted Answer

We collect your company's CSLB license number, license holder, classification and expiration date, plus business details. Our team reviews the application before activating marketplace access.

Question 8

Can I browse or buy leads before my account is approved?

Accepted Answer

No. Marketplace access, including project previews, opens only after your account is active and your licensing information has been verified by our team.

Question 9

Which project types are available as Booked Appointments?

Accepted Answer

Booked Appointments are currently available for Full Roof Replacement, New Roof Installation and Roof Repair / Leak projects. Booked Appointments and Verified Roofing Leads are separate products: every project category is also available as an Exclusive or Shared Verified Lead in the RuufLink Marketplace.
